Joint Decisions
At any time, the Governments of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba can issue a joint declaration to declare their interpretation of the NWPTA. Joint decisions are binding on any future dispute resolution panels – any decisions or awards by a panel must be consistent with joint decisions.
